Fishscale Beats LLC is a St. Louis, Mo based recording and production studio specialized in producing high quality song demos for recording artist and publishers.
You simply provide me with a “work tape” or a basic recording of your song in its entirety with either guitar or piano and vocal. You can also let us know a few song examples of what style you would like the song to sound like.
Based on the work tape and the info you have given me, I then turn it into a fully realized, recorded and arranged song. I add full drums (electronic and acoustic), bass, acoustic and electric guitars, keys/synth/piano and any additional alternate percussion I feel the song may need. If you are a vocalist, you can come in and sing the song here in the studio or you can provide your own singer or I can provide a singer for you for an additional fee. I can take care of everything start to finish.
Once we have a basic structure and arrangement of the song recorded, I will send that to you before any vocals are added. I work with you on a one-on-one basis to make sure each party is on the same page throughout the entire process. Once the arrangement and instrumentation has been agreed upon then we will move on to the vocal tracking. When that is done, we will provide a first edition of the of the final mix which you can listen to on all your audio systems and provide me with any notes or changes to the mix you would like me to make. I will provide up to two revisions.
